अभिवादय चार्वंगीं त्वं निजामिव मातरम् । तत्पितुर्वचनं श्रुत्वा हयसंस्थामरिंदमः ॥ १० ॥
abhivādaya cārvaṃgīṃ tvaṃ nijāmiva mātaram | tatpiturvacanaṃ śrutvā hayasaṃsthāmariṃdamaḥ || 10 ||
«Saúda esta senhora de belos membros como saudarias a tua própria mãe.» Ouvindo as palavras do pai, o subjugador dos inimigos aproximou-se dela, que estava sobre um cavalo (em forma de cavalo).
