The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala

Sanatkumara (teaching Narada on ritual-fruits within Vedanga-oriented sections)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: artha (pragmatic/goal-oriented)
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It illustrates the Purāṇic karma-kāṇḍa principle that specific homa-substances are linked to specific results (phala), mapping ritual precision to tangible outcomes like wealth (gold) and agricultural prosperity.
This verse is primarily ritualistic rather than devotional; it presents worldly fruits of yajña. In the broader Purāṇic frame, such acts can be performed as offerings with reverence, but the stated focus here is phala from homa, not direct Vishnu-bhakti.
It highlights applied ritual procedure—selection and consecration (anointing) of offering materials for homa—reflecting technical yajña-vidhi aligned with Vedāṅga-oriented instruction.
