The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
Narada (teaching in a technical/śāstric mode within the Vedāṅga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It preserves a śāstric, procedural classification and method—showing how the Purāṇa also transmits technical knowledge (vidyā) alongside dharma and devotion, emphasizing disciplined, rule-based practice rather than impulse.
Indirectly: by modeling careful adherence to instruction (ājñā-pālana) and orderly conduct, it supports the broader Purāṇic ethic that devotional life is strengthened by regulated living and respect for śāstra.
Practical, recipe-like procedural knowledge—classification (trividha-bheda) and stepwise method (warm-water mixing, thorough stirring, setting aside)—reflecting a technical-śāstra style of instruction aligned with the Third Pada’s applied sciences.
