चतुर्भिर्नयनं तद्वदस्त्रमेकेन कीर्तितम् । दृक्श्रोत्रनासाद्वितये जिह्वाहृन्नाभिगुह्यके ॥ ४४ ॥

caturbhirnayanaṃ tadvadastramekena kīrtitam | dṛkśrotranāsādvitaye jihvāhṛnnābhiguhyake || 44 ||

Diz-se que o olho é representado por quatro (marcas/unidades); do mesmo modo, o astra, a arma, é descrito por uma só. Isto deve ser aplicado aos órgãos de percepção—olho, ouvido e as duas narinas—bem como à língua, ao coração, ao umbigo e ao órgão secreto.
