hṛdāra yeṇa dāhena vahnisvāṣṭamaṃ tathā | haṃsaḥ kṣmākhaṃyuto grāsaścarayukto dvitīyakaḥ || 131 ||
Pelo ardor da queima produzido pela operação “hṛdāra” (centrada no coração), o Fogo é declarado como o oitavo. Do mesmo modo, o Haṁsa é descrito como o “segundo”: unido à terra e ao espaço, e acompanhado pelos movimentos de engolir e de vagar.
