Deve-se proferir: “Ó Śrī Mātaṅgeśvarī, encantadora da mente de todos; doadora de toda espécie de bem-aventurança, concedente de soberania e plenitude; tu que deleitas toda felicidade.”
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the recitation of Devī-nāmas/mantra-style epithets)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a mantra-like injunction—“one should utter”—framing Devī as the power that captivates the mind toward auspiciousness and ripens worldly happiness into fulfilled well-being.
Bhakti appears here as nāma-ucchāraṇa (devotional utterance of divine names): the devotee approaches the Devī through praising epithets that focus the mind and cultivate reverence and reliance on divine grace.
The practical takeaway is mantra-prayoga: correct, intentional recitation (vadet) of structured epithets—an applied use of śabda (language) aligned with Vyākaraṇa/Chandas sensibilities even within a Purāṇic setting.
