शवर्गाद्यं धूम्रवर्णं ध्यात्वा राहुं मुखे न्यसेत् । त्रिबीजपूर्वकश्चैवं ग्रहन्यासः समीरितः ॥ ४६ ॥
śavargādyaṃ dhūmravarṇaṃ dhyātvā rāhuṃ mukhe nyaset | tribījapūrvakaścaivaṃ grahanyāsaḥ samīritaḥ || 46 ||
Meditando em Rāhu, de tonalidade fumacenta e ligado ao grupo de letras «śa», deve-se colocá-lo (por nyāsa) sobre a boca. Assim, precedido pelas três sílabas-semente (bīja), foi explicado o rito do nyāsa dos planetas.

It teaches a precise meditative-ritual method (nyāsa) for invoking and regulating the influence of Rāhu by combining visualization (dhūmra-varṇa dhyāna) with mantra-placement on the body, aligning inner speech and intention.
Though technical, it supports bhakti by prescribing disciplined, reverent worship of cosmic powers under dharma—using mantra and contemplation as offerings—so the devotee’s mind and speech become steady and purified for higher devotion.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa and ritual-mantra procedure: identifying a graha (Rāhu), its dhyāna-lakṣaṇa (smoke-hued form), and the nyāsa method using specific phonetic groups (śa-varga) and bīja-syllables.
