Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context within the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It prescribes a complete sādhana cycle: contemplation (dhyāna), disciplined mantra-recitation (japa), and fire-offering (homa) as a sealing act—showing that inner focus and outer rite should support each other.
Bhakti here is expressed through sustained, reverent practice: meditating on the deity of the mantra, repeating the mantra with commitment, and dedicating a portion of the effort as an offering—turning practice into worship.
Ritual prayoga (procedure) and saṅkhyā/gaṇanā (precise counting) are emphasized: a fixed japa target (32 lakṣas) and the rule of offering one-tenth as homa using specified dravya (milk with sugar).
