Kṛṣṇādi-mantra-varga-varṇana

एवं ध्यात्वा जपेदष्टलक्षहोमो दशांशतः । पूजाप्रणवपीठेऽस्य सांगावरणकैर्मता ॥ १०८ ॥

evaṃ dhyātvā japedaṣṭalakṣahomo daśāṃśataḥ | pūjāpraṇavapīṭhe'sya sāṃgāvaraṇakairmatā || 108 ||

Tendo assim meditado, deve-se realizar japa até perfazer oitocentas mil repetições; e o homa deve ser a décima parte disso. Para esta deidade/mantra, prescreve-se o culto sobre o assento do praṇava (oṃ-pīṭha), juntamente com seus membros (aṅga) e as divindades envolventes e assistentes (āvaraṇa).
