अपूपा मोदका लाजाः पृथुका नवनीतकम् । द्रव्यषोडशकं ह्येतत्कथितं पद्मजादिभिः ॥ १२८ ॥
apūpā modakā lājāḥ pṛthukā navanītakam | dravyaṣoḍaśakaṃ hyetatkathitaṃ padmajādibhiḥ || 128 ||
Apūpa (bolos), modaka (doces recheados), lāja (grãos tostados), pṛthukā (arroz achatado) e navanīta (manteiga fresca)—estes são (entre) os dezesseis elementos rituais, conforme declararam Padmajā (Brahmā) e os demais sábios e deidades.
