अथ द्रव्याणि काम्येषु प्रोच्यंते तर्पणेषु च । तानि प्रोक्तविधानानामाश्रित्यान्यतमं भजेत् ॥ १२६ ॥
atha dravyāṇi kāmyeṣu procyaṃte tarpaṇeṣu ca | tāni proktavidhānānāmāśrityānyatamaṃ bhajet || 126 ||
Agora são descritas as substâncias a serem usadas nos ritos motivados pelo desejo e também nos ritos de tarpaṇa (oblatações de água para satisfação). Amparado nos procedimentos já ensinados, deve-se adotar aquilo que for aplicável ao rito pretendido.
