The Account of Hanumān

अंते कृत्वा बुद्बुदाभ्यां च सृष्टिं पीठे पीठे नागमेकं पुरस्तात् । कुर्यात्पीठे चोर्द्ध्वके नागयुग्मं देवाभ्याशे दक्षिणे वामतश्च ॥ ४६ ॥

aṃte kṛtvā budbudābhyāṃ ca sṛṣṭiṃ pīṭhe pīṭhe nāgamekaṃ purastāt | kuryātpīṭhe corddhvake nāgayugmaṃ devābhyāśe dakṣiṇe vāmataśca || 46 ||

Ao final, tendo moldado a ‘criação’ (sṛṣṭi) com duas formas semelhantes a bolhas, deve-se colocar, em cada pedestal (pīṭha), uma única nāga à frente. E no pedestal superior também, deve-se dispor um par de nāgas junto à deidade, à direita e à esquerda.
