The Account of Hanumān
Narada (teaching, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames bhūtaśuddhi as an inward, meditative purification: by locating the subtle inner space in the heart-lotus and arranging the five elements there, the practitioner ritually refines the body-mind as a fit support for mantra, worship, and higher realization.
Though technical, it supports bhakti by preparing the inner instrument: purifying the elemental constitution and centering awareness in the heart makes japa and Vishnu-oriented worship steadier, more sattvic, and less distracted.
It highlights prayoga-style ritual know-how (a technical procedure used alongside mantra and nyāsa): the structured visualization of the pañca-bhūtas in the heart-space as part of purification before formal worship.
