Narada (narrative voice within the Narada Purana’s dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It highlights seva (humble personal service) as a direct expression of dharma—Gautama honors Śiva and Viṣṇu not merely with offerings, but with attentive, hands-on service.
Bhakti is shown as practical devotion: serving the Lord with care and reverence in ordinary acts (like fanning during a meal), embodying humility and attentiveness rather than mere verbal praise.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual etiquette (proper conduct in worship and hospitality): orderly service, respect to the worthy, and disciplined observance during offerings/feasting contexts.
