शूद्राणां प्रध्यमं प्रोक्तं म्लेच्छस्य वधबन्धनम् । आख्वोत्वोर्दर्शनं दुष्टं गवाश्वस्य सुखावहम् ॥ ९८ ॥
śūdrāṇāṃ pradhyamaṃ proktaṃ mlecchasya vadhabandhanam | ākhvotvordarśanaṃ duṣṭaṃ gavāśvasya sukhāvaham || 98 ||
Diz-se que, para os Śūdras, o castigo principal é a surra; para o mleccha, é a execução ou o encarceramento. A visão do camelo e do cavalo é infausta; ao passo que ver vacas e cavalos é tido como propício ao bem-estar.
