Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It portrays the marks of an accomplished contemplative—steady seated posture, jñāna-mudrā at the heart, and a mind absorbed in adhyātma—signaling inner realization as the basis for higher instruction.
While the verse is framed in a jñāna-yogic image, the inward heart-centered absorption supports Bhakti by showing that devotion matures into single-pointed inner dwelling on the Divine and the Self beyond distraction.
The verse emphasizes disciplined meditative practice (yogic concentration and posture) that traditionally accompanies Vedāṅga-based study—supporting accurate recitation, understanding, and internalization of śāstra.
