Ensina-se que o que foi perdido—como criadas, servos e semelhantes—pode ser recuperado; e, do mesmo modo, em tempos de medo de ladrões e outros seres perversos, e de serpentes e perigos afins, obtém-se novamente proteção.
Narada (teaching within a Vedanga/ritual-technical context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames ritual-technical practice as dharmic protection: through prescribed prayogas, fear is calmed and losses are restored, reinforcing trust in Vedic order (ṛta) and disciplined conduct.
Though primarily practical, it supports bhakti indirectly: safety and recovery remove obstacles that disturb steady remembrance and worship, allowing devotion to continue without fear.
A prayoga-style result statement typical of technical sections: it lists specific, worldly outcomes (recovery of the lost; protection from thieves/snakes), reflecting applied ritual knowledge allied to Vedanga practice.
