Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga
Sanatkumāra (in instruction to Nārada, within a technical/ritual-application discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: raudra
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It preserves a precise prayoga-style instruction: specific words, gestures, and a concluding exit—showing that disciplined procedure and restraint are integral to dharmic technical practice.
This verse is not directly a bhakti teaching; it reflects the Narada Purana’s broader method where correct discipline and regulated conduct support higher religious aims, including devotion, by training attention and self-control.
It reflects prayoga/vidhi formatting typical of auxiliary disciplines—precise verbal formula (mantra-like utterance), prescribed bodily gesture (mudrā-like action), and the proper conclusion of a rite or operation.
