Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga
भस्मांबु चंदनं मंत्री मंत्रेणानेन मंत्रितम् । भक्ष्यादियोजितं यस्मै ददाति स तु दासवत् ॥ २७ ॥
bhasmāṃbu caṃdanaṃ maṃtrī maṃtreṇānena maṃtritam | bhakṣyādiyojitaṃ yasmai dadāti sa tu dāsavat || 27 ||
Se um praticante de mantra consagra com este mantra a cinza, a água e a pasta de sândalo, e as dá—junto com oferendas comestíveis e afins— a alguém, então ele age apenas como um servo, não como um verdadeiro conhecedor do mantra.

It warns that merely distributing mantra-charged substances (ash, water, sandal) with offerings can become mechanical; true mantra-siddhi requires inner discipline and right intent, not just outward ritual service.

It reflects technical ritual practice (mantra-viniyoga and saṃskāra of substances) and the dharmic rule that mantra-use must be guided by proper procedure and purpose, not by showy or transactional distribution.
