जपेदर्कास्तमारभ्य यावदर्कोदयो भवेत् । मन्त्रं सप्तदिनं यावञ्चादाय भस्मकीलकौ ॥ २५ ॥

Transliteration

japedarkāstamārabhya yāvadarkodayo bhavet | mantraṃ saptadinaṃ yāvañcādāya bhasmakīlakau || 25 ||

Translation

Deve-se recitar o mantra desde o pôr do sol até o nascer do sol. E por sete dias, deve-se também manter consigo a cinza e o kīlaka (estaca ritual) como parte do rito.
