Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Vedanga/Mantra context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It states the proper sequence: first attain mantra-siddhi, then employ that power for one’s true welfare, guided by an esoteric (rahasya) discipline rather than casual recitation.
By emphasizing disciplined practice and inner intention, it supports bhakti-oriented upasana: the mantra is perfected through devoted sadhana, and its fruit is directed toward genuine spiritual good rather than mere display.
It highlights mantra-vidhi and sadhana-krama (procedural discipline): the idea of mantra-siddhi, qualified application of mantra, and the existence of rahasya-instructions typical of technical Vedic practice.
