The Description of the Worship of Rāma and Others
Rāmādi-pūjā-vidhāna
पुष्पकाख्यविमानांतः सिंहासनपरिच्छदे । पद्मे वसुदलेदेवमिंद्रनीलसमप्रभम् ॥ ६० ॥
puṣpakākhyavimānāṃtaḥ siṃhāsanaparicchade | padme vasudaledevamiṃdranīlasamaprabham || 60 ||
Dentro do vimāna chamado Puṣpaka, entre os adornos de um trono de leão, (viu-se) o Deus sentado num lótus de oito pétalas, resplandecente como o indranīla, a safira.
Sanatkumara (in dialogue context with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a contemplative vision: the Lord enthroned on an eight-petalled lotus, emphasizing divine sovereignty (siṃhāsana) and meditative beauty (indranīla-like radiance) as supports for dhyāna and bhakti.
By giving a vivid, auspicious form to remember—Lord seated on the lotus-throne—this verse functions as a bhakti aid: repeated visualization and remembrance (smaraṇa) stabilizes devotion and reverence.
Primarily dhyāna-prayoga (practical meditative application) through iconographic precision—seat (siṃhāsana), lotus (padma), and color symbolism (indranīla)—useful for ritual visualization in mantra-japa and pūjā contexts.
