The Description of the Worship of Rāma and Others
Rāmādi-pūjā-vidhāna
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on Vedāṅga-linked ritual/astral procedures)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It shows the Purāṇa’s Vedāṅga-oriented method: ritual acts are aligned with nakṣatra timing and specific materials, emphasizing disciplined procedure (vidhi) rather than random practice.
Indirectly: it situates technical rites under scriptural regulation; in the Narada Purana framework, such regulated action is meant to be subordinate to dharma and ultimately to devotion-centered living, not mere personal power.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (astral timing): selecting specific nakṣatras and prescribing appropriate ritual implements (lekhanī) for distinct karmas like vaśya and ākṛṣṭi.
