It emphasizes that mantra-upāsanā must follow an established, orderly procedure—nyāsa, dhyāna, and arcana—so the practice becomes both disciplined and spiritually efficacious, and it is sealed by reverence to the Guru.
Bhakti here is expressed through careful worship (arcana) and meditative remembrance (dhyāna), culminating in surrender to the Guru, showing devotion as both inner contemplation and outer rite.
It highlights technical mantra-vidhi—how to perform nyāsa and how to append a specific bīja/syllabic element (the hṛdaya-antima) to a mantra—reflecting the applied ritual science taught in the text’s Vedāṅga-oriented section.
