Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical/ritual context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It presents a prayoga (applied rite) where disciplined homa and sustained japa—performed with auspicious, prescribed materials—are said to remove severe affliction, emphasizing faith, purity, and regulated practice.
While procedural, it supports bhakti by directing the devotee to sustained sacred recitation (japa) and sacrificial offering (homa), acts traditionally performed as worship and surrender to divine order for healing and protection.
It highlights ritual prayoga: the counted offering of 108 oblations, correct use of specific dravya (apāmārga leaves), and a fixed sādhanā-period (seven days), reflecting applied Kalpa/ritual discipline within Vedanga-oriented practice.
