O melhor dos praticantes deve realizar o nyāsa colocando, na garganta, em ambos os lados do corpo e nas costas, as sílabas que procedem de Manu—cada uma separada (precedida) pelo praṇava «Oṁ».
Sanatkumāra (in instruction to Nārada on mantra-nyāsa procedure)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches a precise nyāsa method: sanctifying specific body-points by installing mantra-syllables, each joined with Oṁ, so the practitioner’s body becomes a fit vessel for japa and worship.
By prescribing mantra-nyāsa, it supports bhakti as disciplined worship: devotion is strengthened through correct mantra-vidhi, where Oṁ-centered placement prepares the sādhaka for focused remembrance of the Divine.
Mantra-vidhi and śikṣā-oriented precision: correct use of praṇava with mantra-syllables and their ritual placement (nyāsa), reflecting technical liturgical practice emphasized in Book 1.3.
