Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 16

Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas

तत्त्वन्यासं ततः कुर्याद्धिष्णुभावप्रसिद्धये । अष्टार्णोऽष्टप्रकृत्यात्मा गदितः पूर्वसूरिभिः ॥ १६ ॥

tattvanyāsaṃ tataḥ kuryāddhiṣṇubhāvaprasiddhaye | aṣṭārṇo'ṣṭaprakṛtyātmā gaditaḥ pūrvasūribhiḥ || 16 ||

Em seguida, deve-se realizar o tattva-nyāsa, para firmar o estado de absorção em Viṣṇu. O mantra de oito sílabas (aṣṭārṇa), de natureza da prakṛti em oito aspectos, foi ensinado pelos sábios antigos.
