Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 79

Devapūjā-krama: Ārghya-saṃskāra, Maṇḍala–Nyāsa, Mudrā-pradarśana, Āvaraṇa-arcana, Homa, Japa, and Kṣamāpaṇa

अमुकावरणांते तु देवता इति संवदेत् । सालंकारास्ततः पश्चात्सांगाः सपरिचारिकाः ॥ ७९ ॥

amukāvaraṇāṃte tu devatā iti saṃvadet | sālaṃkārāstataḥ paścātsāṃgāḥ saparicārikāḥ || 79 ||

Ao término do rito de envoltório/recinto (āvaraṇa) prescrito, deve-se dizer: “(Esta é) a divindade.” Depois, a divindade deve ser contemplada ou invocada como ornada de adornos, juntamente com os aṅgas e acompanhada de servas atendentes.
