Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi
समुत्थाय च मन्त्रज्ञस्ताम्रपात्रे सुमादिकम् । प्रक्षिप्यार्घं प्रदद्याद्वै मूलान्तैर्मन्त्रमुच्चरन् ॥ ६७ ॥
samutthāya ca mantrajñastāmrapātre sumādikam | prakṣipyārghaṃ pradadyādvai mūlāntairmantramuccaran || 67 ||
Então, erguendo-se, o conhecedor de mantras deve colocar itens auspiciosos, como flores e semelhantes, num vaso de cobre e oferecer arghya, recitando os mantras que terminam com as sílabas mūla (raiz).
