Sanatkumāra’s Bhāgavata Tantra: Tattvas, Māyā-Bonds, Embodiment, and the Necessity of Dīkṣā

किं च प्रधानचरितं व्यर्थं सर्वं भवेत्ततः । कर्तृत्वरहिते पुंसि करणाद्यप्रयोजके ॥ ५९ ॥

kiṃ ca pradhānacaritaṃ vyarthaṃ sarvaṃ bhavettataḥ | kartṛtvarahite puṃsi karaṇādyaprayojake || 59 ||

Além disso, se a pessoa (puruṣa) fosse desprovida de agência, toda a atividade atribuída à Natureza primordial (pradhāna) tornar-se-ia vã, pois os instrumentos e o restante—corpo, sentidos, mente—não teriam finalidade a cumprir.
