Aqueles que procedem com mente equânime e igual reverência para com Śiva, o Senhor Supremo, e para com Viṣṇu, o Paramātmā—são lembrados como Bhāgavatas, devotos verdadeiros.
Sanatkumara
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It defines a “Bhāgavata” as one who lives with samabuddhi—equal, non-hostile reverence—seeing Śiva and Viṣṇu in the light of the one Supreme Self (Paramātman), which supports inner harmony and liberation-oriented devotion.
Bhakti here is marked by steady conduct and equal-minded respect rather than sectarian rivalry; devotion matures when the devotee honors manifestations of the Supreme without hatred, thereby stabilizing the mind for God-centered practice.
No specific Vedāṅga technique (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa ritual procedure) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical-spiritual discipline—samadarśana (even regard)—as a foundation for dharma and worship.
