शक्तितः सर्वकर्माणि वेदोक्तानि विधाय च । समर्पयेन्महाविष्णौ नारायणपरायणः ॥ ८ ॥
śaktitaḥ sarvakarmāṇi vedoktāni vidhāya ca | samarpayenmahāviṣṇau nārāyaṇaparāyaṇaḥ || 8 ||
Tendo realizado, conforme a própria capacidade, todas as ações prescritas pelos Vedas, aquele que é totalmente devotado a Nārāyaṇa deve oferecê-las todas a Mahāviṣṇu.
Narada (teaching in a bhakti-dharma context within the Narada Purana’s instructional dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that Vedic duties become spiritually elevating when their fruits and ownership are surrendered to Mahāviṣṇu, aligning karma with devotion.
Bhakti is shown as “parāyaṇatā”—single-minded refuge in Nārāyaṇa—expressed practically by offering every Vedic act to Him rather than claiming it as one’s own.
The verse emphasizes vedokta-karma (Veda-enjoined rites) and the rule of śakti (capacity-based performance), a practical dharma principle used in ritual application and decision-making.
