Com folhas, flores ou frutos, e também com a relva dūrvā e brotos tenros, adora Jagannātha Nārāyaṇa de modo altruísta, sem desejar recompensa alguma.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that the essence of worship is inner devotion and selflessness: even simple offerings become spiritually potent when offered to Nārāyaṇa without craving results.
Bhakti here is shown as accessible and heartfelt—one may worship with readily available items, but the defining feature is akāmataḥ (desirelessness), turning the act into pure devotion.
It highlights practical ritual procedure (kalpa-style guidance): acceptable upacāra offerings for pūjā and the principle that intention (bhāva) and nishkāma attitude are central to efficacy.
