Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa

अध्ययनाध्यापनादून्वर्जयेत्संस्मरेद्धरिम् । ब्रह्मचारी भवेन्नित्यं गंधमाल्यादि वर्जयेत् ॥ १० ॥

adhyayanādhyāpanādūnvarjayetsaṃsmareddharim | brahmacārī bhavennityaṃ gaṃdhamālyādi varjayet || 10 ||

Deve evitar tudo o que prejudique o estudo e o ensino, e lembrar-se constantemente de Hari. Deve viver sempre como brahmacārin e abster-se de perfumes, guirlandas e adornos sensuais semelhantes.
