It frames a solar eclipse (sūryoparāga) as a potent ritual juncture where correctly chosen Vedic mantras, offered through Agni, are said to intensify the efficacy of worship and purification.
Bhakti is expressed here through disciplined, reverential action—offering oblations with Sūrya- and Agni-related mantras—treating cosmic events as opportunities to remember and honor divine order (ṛta).
It highlights applied ritual science tied to timing (Jyotiṣa/astral calculation for eclipses) and correct mantra deployment in homa (Kalpa), showing how rites are adapted to specific astronomical occasions.
