शिरः शिखां च संपूर्य कुभयित्वा विरेचयेत् । वाममध्यात्परैर्वायुं क्रमेण प्राणसंयमे ॥ ४७ ॥
śiraḥ śikhāṃ ca saṃpūrya kubhayitvā virecayet | vāmamadhyātparairvāyuṃ krameṇa prāṇasaṃyame || 47 ||
Na disciplina do controle da respiração, deve-se encher o fôlego até a cabeça e o tufo do alto, retê-lo firmemente e então exalar. Depois disso, começando pela esquerda e em seguida pelo canal do meio, deve-se regular o fôlego passo a passo, na devida sequência.
