Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the norms of sadācāra and śauca)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It teaches śauca (purity) and sadācāra (right conduct): bodily hygiene, ritual cleanliness before consumption, and non-harmful behavior toward others—foundational disciplines that support dharma and worship.
Bhakti is strengthened by disciplined living: maintaining cleanliness and considerate conduct removes distractions and offenses, making one fit for pūjā, japa, and remembrance of the Lord with a sattvic mind.
It reflects Kalpa-style practical discipline—rules of conduct and purity that govern daily life and ritual readiness (what to consume, when, and in what state of cleanliness).
