अन्यथा पतितं विद्यात्कर्त्तापि ब्रह्महा भवेत् । र्मौजी विप्रस्य विज्ञेया धनुर्ज्या क्षत्त्रियस्य तु ॥ १६ ॥
anyathā patitaṃ vidyātkarttāpi brahmahā bhavet | rmaujī viprasya vijñeyā dhanurjyā kṣattriyasya tu || 16 ||
Se for feito de outro modo, contra a regra prescrita, saiba-se que isso causa queda do dharma; e o executor também se torna culpado como um matador de brāhmaṇa. A maujī, o cinto sagrado de capim muñja, é própria do brāhmaṇa; já a corda do arco é o emblema adequado do kṣatriya.
