Ekādaśī Vrata-Vidhi and the Galava–Bhadrashīla Itihāsa
Dharmakīrti before Yama
Narada (narrating his experience within the dialogue framework of Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It portrays liberation as entry into Viṣṇu’s “supreme abode” (paramaṃ padam), achieved not merely by personal effort but through divine sanction—here symbolized by Kāla honoring the devotee and facilitating the final passage.
The verse implies that bhakti culminates in grace: the devotee is “honored” and then swiftly carried to Viṣṇu’s realm, emphasizing that devotion ripens into divine acceptance and direct conveyance to Vaikuṇṭha-like attainment.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this line; the focus is theological—Kāla as cosmic principle and the doctrine of parama-pada (highest state). Any ritual/technical detail would belong to surrounding verses rather than this one.
