Ekādaśī Vrata-Vidhi and the Galava–Bhadrashīla Itihāsa
Dharmakīrti before Yama
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that worship of Mādhava is completed and sanctified by practical dharma—honoring Brahmins with food and dakṣiṇā according to one’s means, done with mental steadiness.
Bhakti here is not only inner remembrance of Vishnu (Mādhava) but also outward service—offering hospitality and gifts as an act of devotion and gratitude within a ritual context.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure): after formally addressing the deity, the rite is concluded with brāhmaṇa-bhojana and dakṣiṇā as prescribed acts of completion and merit.
