Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana
ऋषय ऊचुः । साधु सूत महाभाग त्वयातिकरुणात्मना । श्रावितं सर्वपापघ्नं गङ्गामाहात्म्यमुत्तमम् ॥ १ ॥
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | sādhu sūta mahābhāga tvayātikaruṇātmanā | śrāvitaṃ sarvapāpaghnaṃ gaṅgāmāhātmyamuttamam || 1 ||
Os sábios disseram: “Muito bem, ó Sūta, ó grandemente afortunado! Com o coração repleto de compaixão extraordinária, recitaste para nós a glória suprema da Gaṅgā, destruidora de todos os pecados.”
