Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules
यस्मिन्वारे क्षणो वारदृष्टस्तद्वासराधिपः । आद्यः षष्ठो द्वितीयोऽस्मात्तत्षष्ठस्तु तृतीयकः ॥ १६६ ॥
yasminvāre kṣaṇo vāradṛṣṭastadvāsarādhipaḥ | ādyaḥ ṣaṣṭho dvitīyo'smāttatṣaṣṭhastu tṛtīyakaḥ || 166 ||
Qualquer que seja o dia da semana (vāra) observado naquele instante, o senhor desse dia é o regente do dia. A partir desse senhor do dia, o primeiro é contado como o sexto; o segundo é o sexto a partir dele; e o terceiro é o sexto a partir daquele.
