याम्यायने गर्हितं च कर्म यत्नात्प्रशस्यते । माघादिमासौ द्वौ द्वौ च ऋतवः शिशिरादयः ॥ १२७ ॥
yāmyāyane garhitaṃ ca karma yatnātpraśasyate | māghādimāsau dvau dvau ca ṛtavaḥ śiśirādayaḥ || 127 ||
No curso meridional do Sol (dakṣiṇāyana), até mesmo um ato tido como censurável torna-se louvável quando realizado com diligente cuidado. A partir do mês de Māgha, os meses são dispostos em pares; e do mesmo modo as estações—começando por Śiśira—cada uma consiste de dois meses.
