लग्नाच्चतुर्भुगैर्यूपःशरस्तूर्याच्चतुर्भुगैः । द्यूनाद्वेदक्षगैः शक्तिं र्दऽखादिचतुर्भगैः ॥ १८९ ॥
lagnāccaturbhugairyūpaḥśarastūryāccaturbhugaiḥ | dyūnādvedakṣagaiḥ śaktiṃ rda'khādicaturbhagaiḥ || 189 ||
Do Ascendente (Lagna), segundo as divisões em quatro, atribui-se o “poste sacrificial” (yūpa); do quarto (tūrya), segundo as divisões em quatro, a “flecha” (śara). Do sétimo (dyūna), por meio dos grupos de sílabas/letras (vedākṣa-ga), atribui-se a “lança/arma” (śakti); e das demais divisões começando por “rda-kha” e semelhantes, atribui-se conforme suas quatro partes.
