Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
सुवपुर्लोचनः कृष्णवक्रकेशो भृगुः सुखी । दीर्घः कपिलदृड्भंदो निलीखरकचोलसः ॥ १०० ॥
suvapurlocanaḥ kṛṣṇavakrakeśo bhṛguḥ sukhī | dīrghaḥ kapiladṛḍbhaṃdo nilīkharakacolasaḥ || 100 ||
Ele é belo de corpo e de olhos brilhantes; seus cabelos são negros e encaracolados. Por linhagem, é da estirpe de Bhṛgu e vive contente. É alto, de tom capila (castanho-dourado), de membros firmes, e traz marcas distintivas: uma linha azulada e um tufo de cabelo (tuft).
