पंचरास्यादिकेऽन्योन्यपक्षं कृत्वा फलच्छिदाम् । बहुराशिवधं भक्ते फलं स्वल्पवधेन च ॥ ३८ ॥

Transliteration

paṃcarāsyādike'nyonyapakṣaṃ kṛtvā phalacchidām | bahurāśivadhaṃ bhakte phalaṃ svalpavadhena ca || 38 ||

Translation

Em sistemas como a doutrina dos cinco signos do zodíaco, ao dispor “lados” (classificações) mutuamente opostos para cortar os resultados indesejados, pode-se neutralizar o fruto de muitas combinações adversas por meio do cancelamento de apenas algumas poucas.
