Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning
uddiṣṭārāśiḥ saṃkṣiptau hṛtoṃ'śai rahito yutaḥ | iṣṭaghnadṛṣṭenaitena bhaktarāśiranīśitaḥ || 30 ||
Sanatkumara (teaching technical procedure within Narada Purana’s instructional dialogue)

Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It emphasizes precision and correctness (anīśita) in dharmic practice: even technical calculations must be performed reliably so that ritual timing and prescribed measures align with śāstra.
Indirectly: bhakti is strengthened when observances are done properly; the verse shows that devotion is supported by disciplined, accurate application of śāstric methods rather than guesswork.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa/gaṇita-style calculation—working with quantities (rāśi), division into parts (aṃśa), and multiplication by a chosen factor (iṣṭa-ghna) to obtain a correct quotient/result.
