जातार्थे लज्जितोऽत्यर्थे श्रेयाञ्छ्रेष्टश्च नारद । कृष्णतरः शुक्लतमः किम आख्यानतोऽव्ययान् ॥ ५९ ॥
jātārthe lajjito'tyarthe śreyāñchreṣṭaśca nārada | kṛṣṇataraḥ śuklatamaḥ kima ākhyānato'vyayān || 59 ||
Ó Nārada, alguém pode envergonhar-se profundamente de fins mundanos e, ainda assim, ser chamado “mais benéfico” e “o mais excelente”. Que utilidade há, então, em narrar o imperecível com meras comparações como “mais escuro” ou “mais branco”?
