FAQs

It frames omens (utpāta) as meaningful signals within cosmic order and teaches that appropriate śānti (pacification) restores harmony through dharmic, rule-based rites rather than fear or superstition.

While not explicitly naming bhakti, the verse implies reliance on sacred, prescribed śānti practices—typically performed with mantra and reverence to the divine—channeling anxiety about omens into disciplined worship and surrender to higher order.

It reflects Jyotiṣa/Vedāṅga-style categorization of omens (celestial, terrestrial, atmospheric) and indicates that each class has distinct remedial śānti procedures, a hallmark of technical ritual-astrological manuals.
