यद्रोचते द्विजश्रेष्ट तावद्भुंक्ष्व यथेच्छया । ऋभुरुवाच । कदन्नानि दिजैतानि मिष्टमन्नं प्रयच्छ मे ॥ ४५ ॥

yadrocate dvijaśreṣṭa tāvadbhuṃkṣva yathecchayā | ṛbhuruvāca | kadannāni dijaitāni miṣṭamannaṃ prayaccha me || 45 ||

“Ó melhor entre os duas-vezes-nascidos, come enquanto te agradar, como desejares.” Ṛbhu disse: “Dá-me alimentos simples e rudes—próprios de ascetas—e oferece-me também comida doce.”
